CANADY and KEN: TOGETHER FOR NEARLY 65 YEARS!
Hey everyone in our dear Class of 1973...
I
was just looking through the piles of all kinds of papers, flyers,
articles and clippings from Buff and Blue papers and this clipping
caught my eyes! It's VERY INTERESTING and I never knew that this couple know each other waaaaay back in 1956-59! Wow...they are together very close up to 65 YEARS!

I do remember Walter Mason - one of my good Canadian friends & my Gally fraternity brother also- Luckily met him unexpectedly at Nathan Philips Square in Toronto (Canada) one Holiday Season day...(Seen in the pic)-Wonderful time together there...Oh! His passing away this month November- Yeah! Walter-Fly high & FREE into eternity.

remember after we got married and lived in Eufaula, Ala, unexpectedly
someone informed us that Walter Mason was in hospital with his stomach
problem in our town. He traveled in Europe and maybe Mexico. We couldn't
remember how he arrived Eufaula so we visited him.
He was surprised that Dr Kenneth Yohn, our family doctor could sign. At
that time we adopted our mixed siamese and he gave him a new name Mao.
He was always nice and well mannered guy.

One Comment from Steve Turner: ohhh...very sad !!! He was my roommate during sophomore year at Gallaudet. Also, he was one of us famous "4 Nerds" who traveled to Virginia to witness the total solar eclipse. See the picture way down below. My condolences goes to his family !!!!

Awww this "73 mini-gathering" is the LAST one for 2022 DeafNation Expo.....
REMINDER: We will have our HUGE '73 Gathering next year...What is it? Of Course: Our Class of 73 50th Anniversary Reunion this coming October (2023)
